A beadwork consisting of clothing size rings hangs on the wall like an everyday mirror. The artist has taken the measurements of this work from her own body measurements, creating a profound connection to her physicality. Upon closer examination, viewers can discern the contour of her body in the arrangement and selection of beads. What initially appears as a mere display of beads reveals itself as a utilization of european clothing sizes. This revelation transforms the work into a reflection of psychological introspection and mirror work. Each centimetre of her body is interpreted by a size-provided bead and shows how she herself perceives it. This leads to confrontation, resilience, revelation, and vulnerability, highlighting the artist's intimate engagement with her own physicality in a wider dialogue.
